Hi everyone! The other day my class went on a bike ride to some Po, they were the ones you can see in the photo. We used the bike track that goes from Wainui to Kaiti, these Po are about half way down the track, my teacher and her family have put these here because when some of her family went to war and came back alive they were gifted some land that they still own to this day, although they can not live up there because they cant get up there without a lot of walking up a steep hill, it would be too hard to build and to get up to it.

The driveway you see in the photo is someone else's not theirs sadly, but as I was saying since they have no other way of getting up there other than walking then can't build anything up there. But in a spiritual way there are still things there.

ReplyDeleteI like how you use a lot and a lot of info and included what happened and what you did at the time. It looks like you had fun as I was there too but enjoyed it too. I like you added what the point of the ride to the Po and I really think you did a great job!
